Snowdon Rocks 2 - Return to the Mountain

Love Hope Strength UK Foundation would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who participated and supported Snowdon Rocks 2.

Over 140+ walkers and supporters of the charity took part in the walk and the weather did nothing to dampen everybody's spirits. A quick burst of Rain in the Summertime and a photocall at the start of the walk sent everyone on their way.

Stopping at the half way café for a cup of tea and a record attempt to see how many people you can fit into a café for a gig.

Songs played at the half way café included: Walk Forever, Strength, Marching On/Where Were You/68 Guns, Love Hope Strength.

Walkers who reached the top of Snowdon were treated to a rousing rendition of Blaze of Glory.

The charity day ended with a fantastic evening gig at the Galleri with Eddie Macdonald and Nick Harper joining Mike on stage.

The charity auction which took part in the interval raised £827. Jeannie Kelly won Mike's jacket at £251, Rue Todd won the Gathering weekend package at £350, Gillian Midgley won the DMW signed T-shirt at £101 and Jud Judge won Ken Kelly painting at £125.
